For some phases of the saga:

GMAT and application:
"No pain, no gain..."
"Know yourself or I devour you"

Waiting and paints pooping time:
"Patience is the name of the game."
"If you can't stand it, go get some milk."

Inspired by 300, a movie with plenty of great war cries: Acceptances are not free, they require great sacrafice. (beyond the word limit but adding to it) The price is paid in blood.

Originated from: Freedom is not free, it requires great sacrafice. The price is paid in blood.

From Gladiator: We who are about to apply, salute you.

My worst nightmare is that the application season will end like the Soprano's finale.

January 16, 12:01 am. "Dont stop believing" blaring in the background. I hear ding,(no its just my automatic e-mail notification).

subject : Your HBS application decision.

I click on the email. Heart in my mouth, I wait...

Gmail says "Your email is opening...".

Then, the screen goes black and fades out. Never to re-appear again.

Its hard to blend a rave and a 1@#!@# dragon into one image.

I'm actually pretty happy with how this turned out.

Brilliant stuff, rhyme.

My war cries:

a) Drop it like it's hot
(shamelessly stolen from The Dawg and inspired by the money I had to spend just to apply and the amount of debt I'll carry after the MBA).

b) I don't give a rat's @ss
(very popular during my denial phase while waiting for interviews).

c) You want the truth? You can't handle the truth (quote from Jack Nich' from the movie Men of Honor - if I remember correctly. This one goes to answer all the speculation about adcoms strategies and stats.)
