You should add the ability for people to post websites or blogs. I know several of us have these and I think it would be nice to easily be able find people's pages.

Along the lines of Dabots comment. I think that a few of the older moderators who are no longer around should be replaced with newer folks. I think we still appreciate the contributions of these people but since moast are now busy with school now and aren't on here as often. (Except for Rhyme who still lives here). When they are around they dont need to worry about what to sticky, move, delete, or anything like that anyways.

aviroop, bro, the kind of "play it safe" stance that Praetorian takes on offensive language / pictures makes me feel that your new avatar ain't going to go well with him. :?

The only issue I have with the forum is how biased it is for the Ultra Elite's. There really isn't a lot of good discussion or information regarding Trans-Elite schools and below. There has to be more people on this forum applying to those level schools, but are possibly scared away or are intimidated because so many are talking about HBS, GSB, Stanford, Wharton, etc. I think the forum should try to create a broader perspective and target more than just the elite.

If I get into Emory, like I want, I hope to do my part in representing them on this forum, to try and create a more in depth discussion for at least one of the Trans-Elites.

Oh, and the faces would be nice. Seeing a  when I want to see smiles, just doesn't do it for me.

emory, I completely agree that the forum needs to get more pro elite / trans elite. But considering that the interest in schools is something that is driven by the forum participants, not the owner/moderator, I am not sure what steps can Praet or anybody else take to follow your suggestion. Any ideas?

Why isn't there a spot for male/female in the profile? I just thought it might be nice to know that. And for those who don't want people to know, they can just leave it blank.

I haven't really put a lot of thought into how to improve the exposure and discussion of more programs on the forum through the help of the moderators or hosts. It really is a problem that the members don't input more information for lower ranked schools. The only suggestion I can make for moderators or hosts is possibly to add an Announcement to the top of the appropriate forums that will encourage more discussion for school clusters outside of the elite. Let new members read this and be encouraged that the forum is making an effort to broaden its discussion. Its just a quick thought, but it may help. Then again, if the users aren't interested in that information, it will never take off.

i think its a self-selection thing, the people who end up finding gmatclub are are very driven and therefore aiming for the ue/e schools.
