C. coyote, because of its amazing ability to adapt to the presence of humans, has been able to expand it

Clearly C.

Modifier "Though..." should modify "coyote" not the "coyote's ability".

Clear C.
Only B and C have the correct modifier.
But C is more idiomatic with "Ability to"

amazing ability didn't kill anyone

the coyote did... hence A D E are out

B has pronoun problem "THEIR" and unidiomatic "ABILITY OF ADAPTING"

C here 100%

Just two factors. Modification norm eliminates A, D and E. In B, the plural verb ‘have ‘and the pronoun ‘their’ do not agree with the singular coyote. Therefore, C

Can anyone explain the use of " Because of " in the correct sentence, It should be "Because of Noun", But there is a complete clause after "because of" in the correct sentence

The prepositional phrase ‘because of’ should be followed by either a noun or noun phrase.
Because of its amazing ability … is a noun phrase.
2. What is after ‘because of ‘is not a clause as you have assumed. If it is a clause, there should be a verb. There is no verb in the modifier part in ‘C”.

Choice E is out because it is not clear what "it" refers to. This is same to unclear pronoun in A.
In addition, choice D and E sounds awkward.
Choice D "have" does not match "ability". This is same in B.

A. Eliminate.
The pronoun "it" has no antecedent as ‘coyote's' is possessive. The modifier "though subject… century' incorrectly modifies the 'ability'. "ability of" is unidiomatic.

B. Eliminate.
The pronoun 'have' incorrectly refers to singular ‘coyote’. "ability of" is unidiomatic.

C. Correct Answer.
The modifiers are correctly structured and placed. Singular pronouns are used to refer to ‘coyote’.

D. Eliminate.
The pronoun 'have' incorrectly refers to singular 'coyote'. The modifier "Though subject… century' incorrectly modifies 'amazing ability’. "expand the range" - usage of "the" is incorrect. Not clear what range we are referring to in this option.

E. Eliminate.
Same as D. The modifier "Though subject… century' incorrectly modifies 'amazing ability’. "expand the range" - usage of "the" is incorrect. Not clear what range we are referring to in this option as well.

Hope this helps!
