Oh PS I saw people "splashing" their faces and being all hyper in the bathroom which was pretty hilarious. Remember, the GMAT is trying to beat YOU; you're not trying to beat it.

I should expand more on further prep. If I were to advise someone on getting a 700+ score, I would advise the following:

Timeframe (12 weeks)

3 weeks, 3 hours/day, read several books, Kaplan, McGrawHill, Princeton, etc. Get familiar with the questions, learn the answers inside out (for DS), etc. Do all the questions inside out.

Join GMATClub, practise questions daily (non-stop until G-Day).

OG10, OG11, SC1000, Grammar Book and learning any math concepts that you're not familiar with. Practise with sets in areas that you're weak, say SC, and do 50 questions at a time, and time yourself, along with accuracy. Once you're over 95% consistently without thinking too hard, you're set.

1 Month Before - GMATPrep, PowerPrep, emphasis on SC. SC is free marks. Most SC questions took me 30 seconds-- RC/CR are killer for time.
Start doing the Paper Tests, make sure you do them inside out.

2 weeks before, for 1 week, start doing 200 problems in a row, in about 3 hours (make sure you mix up DS, PS, RC, CR, and CR).

Last week relax, do some PP's.

That's it. 12 weeks, and you're guaranteed an easy 700+. Hey, if I can do it, anyone can.

Night before: Went out for Halloween, drank from 10pm to 7am (20-25 drinks), slept from 7am to 10am,

give your big red nose a nice honk...
funny story but def not true.
i dont think anyone is even capable of being that dumb and irresponsible - drinking heavily the night before a test that you've spent several months preparing for

all I have to say: wow such immature people get high scores :) maybe getting a high score is not all that "good". I have heard that b-school adcoms look at high scorers more deeply to see if they have anything else going on in their lifes, because a score does not tell the whole picture :)) and now I see why :) well... congrats on the score ... and yeah such a 'fun' (stupid) story :)) but most people don't believe it anyways :) you did not post like 150 post on this forum (such an effort) to go to the gmat drunk :)

Thanks guys.

Haha story? It's not even that good, trust me, I wish I made it up, because if I did, I'd definately have a higher score :-)

FYI if you want to work as a trader in investment banking, I know first hand that you have to drink, smoke and gamble. You also have to be cheap and a huge risk taker (for Quant jobs they take the little nerds). Food for thought.

Best of luck to you all.
