But I have doubts for B as an answer.
I see the need for 'that' in the sentence but am wondering if 'like' is the correct usage here.Shouldn't it be 'such as' if Brio colage is made of two materials-Knicknacks and cast offs.

I also agree with E but have a question, is it fare to say in this circumstance that when using "in that it" the "it" is always going to refer to the subject of the phrase that proceeds it, where as "because it is" could refer to either the subject or object of the proceeding phrase (brucolage or art).

Based upon the above assuption the following (if it were listed as a choice) would still be wrong

E is the answer and this is a PR2005 questions. Again, this is an exact replica of the "teratomas" question(tissues such as tooth and bone, tissues that...) from the OG.

Guys, I always ask that unless you know OG and LSAT verbal completely and you understand all the questions, please do not venture out for practising with any other stuff. It is simply too difficult to match ETS verbal quality

Hi folks,

I do agree that the OG clones dont do a very good job of improving SC skills. People who practice these because of the enormous material they produce endup not understanding the concepts. More practice does not mean higher score. Understanding concepts is very important.
Patters are useful only to a certain extent.
In my opinion I have not seen anything that comes even close to OG SCs.

In the above question the logic is simple. When a sentence begins with words that bring contrast (for example unusual, in contrast to etc) the following fragments should bring in what constitutes that contrast.

How is the subject of the sentcne unusual, or different.

Hi Praet, I would say that I recognized at least 5 questions that are cloned from the OG. This is almost on the limit of legality if I can put it that way

. I'm shocked that a renowned test prep would copy questions just like that. However, I still recommend the CD as it does have a good variety of Math/Verbal questions. Math now has quite intense combination questions and verbal has many BF type questions. Also, as opposed to 2004 CD, RCs do not repeat which is much better. One more advantage is that most CAT start with RC as early as second question and even have them back to back from there. Thus, since most persons' RC is weaker, this will bias the overall score downward and will now make the test more difficult than it used to be in the 2004 version.
