I would strongly advise not to use "Crack" and "GMAT" as a combination.
It's hard enough to concentrate in those test rooms as it is... :P

I started with Cracking the Gmat, it was easy to read and somewhat humorous. As I moved onto Kaplan, I found the material a lot more difficult. I don't recommend the Crack book either. The strategies and gimmicks are dangerous.

I agree. That kind of humor and tricks is for fun only. We study GMAT not only to get the score but also to boost up our level of thinking.
How could we increase our level of thinking with cheating?

True value is always TRUE.

I think it is important to distinguish between Cracking the GMAT by Princeton Review and https://www.CrackGMAT.com.

I just took the CrackGMAT.com practice test, and want to know whether or not their scores accurately predict what I would get on the GMAT.

As I go through their stuff, there's a lot of things that raise a red flag in my book. There are even questions, I'm convinced I'm right now.

I agreed that Cracking the GMAT is also not a good book. The materials and questions provided are easy compared to the actual GMAT itself.

bubbles, I think you're confusing the two...Cracking the GMAT is from Princeton Review and is one of the best review guides on the market. The tests are totally on par with the real thing. Everyone here is talking about the Crack GMAT tests. They're trying to trade off the Cracking series name but they're not the same.

i understand that all are saying that crack-gmat is not similar to actual gmat questions...

is it more difficult or less difficult than the actual gmat?

Cracking the GMAT (PR) is not bad. I would recommend to start with it, than KAPLAN and GMAT 800. What is CRACK GMAT?

The tests I did not like (too easy) are those that are sent by ETS when you schedule for GMAT test. Why they send such easy tests
