Ok guys,

I am down to 2.5 weeks. This is it. now or never.

Target Score(Q:50,V:38) :

Things to complete:
1) Redo OG SC and OG CR
2) Veritas Test 4 and 5 (incl AWA)
3) 800 Score Test 4 and 5 (Q and V only)
4) PR test 4 (incl AWA)
5) MGMAT Test 1,2 and 3 (Q and V only)
6) GMAT Prep Test 1,2, Reinstall-->1 and 2 again
7) Power Prep 2 --> to boost my confidence before I go for exam
8) On the final weekend, just go through gmatprep problems on this website
9) MGMAT SC Test online
10) Review SC Error Log
11) Review Cheat Sheat for MAth and Verbal.


Current standing (Post 1st Official Gmat) (Q:48,V:36)
Q is skewed because veritas gave me 43 on one test with only 3 problems wrong. I think I am around 49 currently.
V is skewed on the upper end because of 800 score. Gave me a 44 hahah
hahaha to me who is s**T at VERBAL

Questions:
1) Should I include Arco tests?
2) Should I redo Power Prep?
3) Should I do more than 3 full legnth exams.. Kind of running out of time.. I feel now I want to practice more I can. I have already done post my first gmat 6 full length tests.. and I am seeing my stamina better
4) Is this too much to ask from now till the end of 6th Aug?
5) What strategies to follow to push for the final 2 point improvement in the last 2 weeks. I am not worried of Quant as you can notice, but I am worried of verbal, because I had similar scores before GMAT 1 (without practicing AWA ofcourse)


Please guys, give me your frank opinion on these..

looks like a little bit of overkill for 2 weeks I think. You gotta leave a little in the tank for the actual test! I think where you should cut this down is to take out a few of those practice tests. I counted 13 tests! Come on now. I've read your posts and had some discussions with you on this board and I really don't think you need this much work to get your target score (or at least close). Cut those 13 tests down to 4-5. I would suggest just the 4 GMATPreps and the Powereprep and make sure that a GMATPrep is the last one you take. Include AWA's with at least a couple of these as stamina seems to be a problem area. Beyond that focus on error log and weaknesses (that extra SC practice you have in there looks like a real good idea). Also, don't neglect math. I can't speak for everyone but when I stayed away from math for to long my performance in that area would drop. Make sure you continue to do enough math practice to maintain.

Ihatethegmat,

Thanks for the advice.. But if you notice some of the test I am doing section by section just to get practice.. I think you are right, I need to limit to 4-5 full length tests.. but keep practicing math in parallel with SC and CR... Thats why I included some 800score and MGMAT tests where I do only sections..

What do you think?

Have you already done the OG supplement books, in addition to OG11? If you have any OG work that you haven't done yet (or even any that you can't really remember the answers on because you did it a long time ago) I would suggest replacing a lot of those test sections from 800score, veritas, etc with OG. In fact of all the non-official stuff you have listed there the only stuff I really like is MGMAT Math, PR Verbal and probably MGMAT SC. The CR questions on the MGMAT online tests are really bad in my opinion.

#1, 4(V only), 5(Q only and just 1-2 tests, not all 3), 6-11: Look Good
#2, 3, 4 (Q), 5 (V + test3Q): Cut these out

Lastly, go into the test with confidence because you are well prepared to get a good score!

(1) good if you need the help
2,3,4,5,6,7 .... is that uhm, 13 tests? In uhm 16 or 17 days? AWA or not, thats a lot. I'd suggest GMATPrep tests 1 and 2 for sure, and if you can, also a retake of either 1 or 2 wont hurt.
Then I'd suggest you do one more - maybe 4 total, spaced out evenly. If you can, try to take them at the same time you will take the real exam - so you get used to it at a certain hour.
SC Error log yes
Cheat Sheet yes

Otherwise, I think your plan looks great, but you need to cut back on those exams - you will burn out like MAD if you try 13 exams :)

Took the advice............. Have cut out a few exams... But I added a new thing from Manhattan to the list..

I just got Manhattan GMAT Sentence Correction 2 hour class, which includes 30 HW problems!!!! AWesome!!!!

Manhattan has great customer service... They were willing to work on a deal with me for finding a problem ;)

So here is my update

Things to complete:
1) Redo OG SC and OG CR (SC done, CR next Tuesday)
2) Veritas Test 4 and 5 (incl AWA) (will not do it, maybe one this SUN)
3) 800 Score Test 4 and 5 (done only QandV, I sucked at it)
4) PR test 4 (done, no AWA got 710,m44,v44)
5) MGMAT Test 1,2 and 3 (this weekend, only Q and V, no AWA )
6) GMAT Prep Test 1,2 Reinstall-->1 and 2 again (next week)
7) Power Prep 2 (not wasting time, problems exactlt as OG)
8) On the final weekend, just go through gmatprep problems on this website
9) MGMAT SC Workshop(Advanced workshop)
10) Review SC Error Log
11) Review Cheat Sheat for MAth and Verbal.

Took out Power Prep and Veritas mainly.. And did only Q and V for some of the tests.. I will still do the GMAT preps completely incl AWA next week. Wed and Friday.
