I like UCLA. I did my undergrad there. As far as location, it is at the top of my list. Not my first choice, but in the end I may end up preferring to stay on the West Coast, and UCLA is a fine school in a fine location.

What year did you graduate from?

I also went there for undergrad and graduated in '03.

How do you think they view accepting their own undergrads?

I just came back from attending a class at UCLA.

The talent was not as good as the undergrad... visual talent, that is.

I love going to the campus. It brings back so many memories.

On my application status page:

/*
Transcripts RECEIVED
Please note that we have received a completed transcript template from you, but not official transcripts. While your application can now be evaluated, you cannot be offered admission to the university without official transcripts.
*/

i had my undergrad fedex them my official transcripts and the fedex tracking shows that UCLA received them two weeks ago. however, my status page still shows what is above. i emailed them about a week ago, but no response yet - and i don't want to annoy them either. anyone else have this issue?

I would assume that they have the transcripts. If the status doesn't update in another couple of weeks, you can give them a call. As long as the application status says "Compelete" you should be fine. Did you upload a scanned copy of transcripts while submitting ?

thanks lhotseface.

Yes, i uploaded a scanned copy of my transcript. I guess they don't update the status page too frequently. i did find it a bit odd that they have not replied to my email and it's been over a week though.

I agree. Moreover, we have no idea when we are going to hear the final decision. Jan 19th is another year away...

Anderson has posted their latest employment report. figures overall look solid. note how almost all of their US domestic job placement is in CA. good if you're planning on working in CA post MBA, which is one of the main reasons i'm applying.

WBF,

We certainly welcome more discussion of UCLA/Anderson. UCLA seemed to generate more discussion in previous admissions seasons while this season Yale and Cornell seem to have come up more frequently. The buzz surrounding schools in the same cluster is pretty cyclical and part of the interest in Yale might have to do with Yale's recent curriculum changes.

Am I reading this wrong?

I Banking median salary was 95000 and mean was ~95000?

Bonus was ~37000?

Consulting was ~ 105000?

Bonus was ~20000?

I thought total comp packages were much higher.

I hear total comp is around 250K.

So total comp is more around 180-200K?

I also thought I banking paid more than consulting?
