I am assuming that INSEAD is an exception to your North American ambition. Re wanting to work in / with the government, a direct entry for an international will naturally depend on your research - do NA government bodies hire international MBAs? Equally important will be your self-reflection on whether your experiences and skills are portable from India to USA, Canada, Mexico? Lastly (for now), how will MBA education prepare you for such possibilities?
There isn't much information on you available here, except your GPA, which is okay, though marginally lower than the average for some schools you have listed. You will also need to undertake deep dive into understanding what do each schools look for, which of these are Indian-friendly, liberal on scholarships (given your non-profit background, am guessing that a scholarship for you may be a must), etc. etc. - Dee (MBA admissions consultant)

Not sure if GMAT can be pushed higher but for a few of these such as Judge and INSEAD and HEC, 640 will be a tough proposition.

Otherwise, global programs love to have people with more experience and ideally with good brands on the resume. That will help significantly with employment as well!

With over six years in the Oil & Gas sector at HPCL, I've led transformative initiatives in plant operations and spearheaded impactful CSR activities. Now, I'm poised to transition to international business, seeking to leverage my leadership experience and passion for social impact on a global scale.

My short-term goal post-MBA is to secure a strategic leadership role in a multinational corporation, where I can integrate my expertise in operations management, leadership, and CSR to drive sustainable growth and social responsibility initiatives worldwide.

Looking further ahead, my long-term vision is to lead efforts at the intersection of business and sustainability, advocating for environmental stewardship, social equity, and inclusive growth. I aim to make a lasting impact by leveraging my MBA education and international experience to address pressing global challenges and drive positive change.

I'm drawn to INSEAD and LBS for their renowned programs and global perspectives, which align with my aspirations to work in Europe and contribute to shaping a more sustainable and equitable future. With a steadfast commitment to excellence and a passion for driving global impact, I'm eager to embark on this transformative journey and make meaningful contributions to the world of international business.

INSEAD will require international experience, the kind where you actually sit in a foreign country, and spend a few years working. I've heard of folks getting in without that as well, but that is a much smaller proportion. LBS is competitive as well. Hopefully, you are open to expanding your search but a bit. What is a good target GMAT score? Feel free to reach out if you want to chat more: https://bit.ly/GM_AugAcd_Profile_Evaluation

Your introductory narrative doesn't provide much information on your career trajectory, achievements, etc. Your GPA is strong, and an equally strong GMAT will help. Keep in mind that your goal will need to be a lot more precise and even your schools choice may need a rethink. - Dee (admissions consultant, worked with HPCL candidates in R2 who have admits; Email: catalysts.success@gmail.com)

Hi Animesh - these are excellent schools. I wish you all the best. You should target about 675+ for ISB, and 685+ for the other schools. In general, there are several tech. professionals applying to global MBA programs - so it takes a bit of work to distinguish oneself from the other techies. A good score is a positive starting point. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions: https://bit.ly/GM_AugAcd_Profile_Evaluation.

Re UK, please watch out for the news on 14th May 24 re UK's decision on the two-year work visa post MBA. There is a possibility that UK may scrap that option. If it happens, subject to its implementation timelines, you may have to do a full re-think on your target schools.

Re your profile, while there isn't much that you shared, a decent GPA + a strong GMAT score will help your Indian, Male, Engineer profile.
