Calling all Emory Goizueta MBA Applicants: 2024 Intake Class of 2026

Now I have to decide between Mendoza and Owen. Could anyone please kindly share your thoughts on which one to pick? I am planning to go into consulting post-MBA. (Mendoza offered 70k and Owen offered 60k.) I actually like both schools. lol Feeling really torn.

I applied for Goizueta's Two-year MBA and checked the option to be considered for the 1 Year program. I have been waitlisted in the two-year program but admitted into the One Year MBA with a 40% Scholarship.

I want to understand the pros & cons of a 1-year program and if there are any significant downsides to Emory's 1 Year vs its flagship 2-year MBA. Might be helpful to understand in terms of - Career outcomes, learning opportunities, networking opportunities, and workload.

If you're highly confident in your current profile and the unique value you can bring to an M7 classroom, focusing on these schools initially could be the right approach. Otherwise, going with Emory Goizueta is the right decision. However, it's not as profoundly advertised as the M7 B-schools; it does offer a highly respected MBA program known for its intimate class size, strong community, and personalized attention to each student's professional development. If you value a close-knit community where faculty and staff might know you by name, Emory could offer a more tailored educational experience that propels you toward your career goals.
