👍 thank you. Felt pretty good to be able to do it with the right tools.

If you have other needs or ideas, please let me know. I’m thinking of switching attention to the GRE scores and see if there’s anything I can do there.

The GRE score calculator would be an excellent addition! I have a bunch of friends who are going to go for the GRE instead of the GMAT as they aren't sure between getting an MBA or an MSc. There must be more people like that in the world, and they would definitely benefit from it!

Hey bb
I recently took GMAT FE and when I fed the individual scores here, the individual percentiles matched the official report but the overall percentile did not.
The overall percentile was 89%, whereas, shown here is 85%. Do you have any idea why that can happen?

Thank you for this feedback. This is because the Table GMAC published is done in either non-friendly format or I don’t know how to read it I need to shift every single number by one up basically. It’s an easy fix and we can blame it on me but I blame it on the reability of the official GMAC table 😇

Thank you so much for the feedback and helping me get it to be more precise congrats on the score too!

PS. I’ll fix it in a couple hours when I get home

Wow. Thank you for keeping track of it! 🤩

The starting numbers have been changed. No calculations, scores or percentiles changed. I’ve set the starting numbers on the sliders to be the mean values instead of the previously pre-selected 80. I’ve also been able to add a little bump indicating the mean on the scale.

Setting it to 80, 80, 80 is still 605 when I do it. So I think the changes made were the initial starting scores were adjusted 😇

Let me know if anything doesn’t look right

I have developed a GMAT Focus Calculator that helps get your final score based on the sectional scores (Quant, Verbal, and DI)

Set your scores and it should match your result exactly (there is some fancy math going on behind the scenes to make sure that the results are always multiples of 5)
You can use this calculator to get a sense of how much you can bump up your score with changes in the section. Something that's interesting to note about the GMAT Focus is that all 3 sections contribute to the score equally, so if you can max one out easier than others, go for it. The percentiles are based on the

Hi bb
Thanks for this! Do you have an approximate number of how many points each correct answer gets you?

Thanks!
