I view this "technical issue" as a grave mistake that could greatly affect applications. I've contacted their Customer Care Team for details on when the incorrect scores were sent and how promptly the issue was resolved.
I'm curious to know if any other GMAT takers have encountered similar notifications.
Hi Wydren! This is an extremely unusual issue. Doesn't happen at all. However, you need not be worried. The schools will consider the final score that you submit.
