Accepted.com MBA Interview Coaching

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I thoroughly recommend using Accepted.com's MBA Interview Coaching service if you are uneasy heading into MBA interviews. I had applied to 5 top MBA programs (UVA, NYU, UCLA, Columbia, UMich) on my own and thought I'd be able to weather the storm that is the admissions process on my own. After I received an interview invite from Darden, I knew I needed help mastering my story and making sure I knocked the interview out of the park. This is when I decided to reach out to a few consulting services and ultimately decided on Accepted.com. I worked with Natalie Epstein and her breadth of knowledge from working as an AdComm member at numerous top ranked programs put my nerves at ease. Further, she has years of experience on the consulting side of the business which gives her another advantage as she has seen/heard many MBA hopefuls stories and knows what works and what doesn't from this experience.

In working with Natalie, I really felt personalized service and was extremely prepared heading into my interview. We spent time chatting about my background before we did a few mock interviews and after all our work I was supremely confident the day of my interview. If you're someone who is feeling a little unsure about your "story" heading into an interview then I would HIGHLY recommend you use Accepted.com's MBA Interview Coaching service.

Kudos to Accepted and Michelle !

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

I worked with Michelle Stockman for almost 4 months, and I couldn't be happier with the assistance and support I received.

I initially had a free consultation call with Michelle, during which time we discussed schools, my profile, and the process of the application. Following this, I got started with my essays and boy, was I glad I signed up with Accepted! Michelle added great value to my essays in terms of providing suggestions to improvise, and polishing my essay drafts. She helped me identify valuable points about my profile that I didn't realize initially, and incorporated them to strengthen my essay pitch. Michelle also was very quick to respond to my drafts and emails, and was very honest in her feedback, which I also appreciated.

Overall, I would definitely recommend signing up with Accepted!

Fantastic experience! Accepted.com interview coaching

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

At first, when I received interview invitations from my top two schools, I was ecstatic. Then I panicked. I realized that I hadn't interviewed in nearly 3 years (been in the same job) and that I didn't know what to expect from the MBA interview. While I could read about how to write a good essay or ace the GMAT, I thought that practice was going to be key for the interview. I researched several different mock interview services and ultimately landed on Accepted based on reviews and perceived value.

I was not disappointed! I worked with Esmeralda (a former admissions director at a top program) and had a 1 hour mock interview where we spent about 30-40 minutes working through questions and 20 minutes going through feedback and highlighting pitfalls to avoid. She knew my background (I was a re-applicant and she had reviewed both applications thoroughly) and asked many questions that I ended up getting in the actual interview. She made things very easy- she asked tough questions but in much the same manner as the actual admissions officer that I interviewed with asked them. She was knowledgeable about the school and knew which parts of my application the school would want to pick on and dive into. She prepped me for several questions I actually got and I was able to give fantastic answers on interview day because she had asked me the questions, forced me to think about them and then given me feedback on where I could shore up my answers.

Overall, the service from Accepted was well-worth the cost and instrumental in getting me accepted to my top choice school! Thank you very much to Esmeralda and Linda and the entire Accepted.com team for such a wonderful experience!

Accepted to MIT Sloan!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

First off, applying for MBA programs is a very emotional process. It takes a lot of time and effort to make sure your application is well rounded and perfect before submitting it. And you need to customize every detail for each school! Accepted.com really helped me to make sure my applications were as strong as possible. I actually worked with two consultants - Judy Gruen helped me with the initial applications, then Jen Weld stepped in to help me with interview prep and to complete the require interview essays (yes, more essays). They both were very balanced in their approach to helping me make sure my essay content met the intent of the question and meet the word limit (it's really tough to get your point across with such a limited number of words). Judy used a lot of tough love to help me fine tune my essays - something I can now appreciate as a future student of MIT Sloan. I definitely recommend Accepted because the application is truly YOURS, they just give input into the process to make it the best it can be.

Great experience with Accepted.com

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Before talking with Accepted I talked with a couple of advisors. The feeling with those was ok, something standard, but then I talked with Esmeralda and I knew I got to work with them. She seemed so motivated, so willing to work that there was no doubt. And it was the right decision! We prepare 2 applications, and she was always on top of everything, she always returned my drafts after a couple of days full of value added markup. She also took her time to review the full application, and improve parts I didn't notice needed to be improved.

Her work has been decisive for me to get accepted for next year.

Accepted was the right choice, and I fully recommend working with them!

Recommend Natalie from Accepted.com

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I worked with Natalie from Accepted.com and I highly recommend her!

As an international student, I did not know much about the American MBA admission process when I started applying. Natalie improved my application significantly by providing very honest and efficient feedback on my essays. She helped me focusing on the relevant aspects and developing a good structure for the essay. In addition, she did an interview training session with me which was just great!

Overall , I got interviews at all 5 top-ranked business schools I applied for and I will start HBS this coming fall.

I could not have done it without her!

Extremely helpful and flexible!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I worked with Cindy 2 weeks from the last deadline for application submission. She was extremely flexible and accommodated my tight schedule. I found her feedback and reviews (essays) to be very beneficial.

She helped me craft my story in a compelling way. She was very efficient in managing the time and directing me in getting the most from her time.

I found the mock interviews to be very helpful to get me into the right mindset and also frame/structure my responses.

She was very quick to grasp my background and polish the necessary areas very effectively.

Cindy's direction and editing definitely played pivotal role in my success. I would recommend working with Cindy for anyone!

AWESOME work by Natalie

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Hi - I belong to the hyper competitive Indian male demographic and with a low GMAT score, was doubting my chances of cracking a top M7 school although I had a strong consulting experience at a top tier firm.

Natalie was outstanding as she able to clearly differentiate my profile and bring out the best elements creatively leveraging my strong work experience and other areas of strength. I quite enjoyed working with her as she was super accessible and I feel the experience she brings on the table is extraordinary and its a no brainer to not work with her. Highly recommend her!

Accepted's Jennifer Bloom is the best

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

I worked with Stratus Prep in Round 1 and had abysmal response on my applications. For Round 2, I contacted Accepted.com and they paired me with Jennifer.

I bought the hourly package and got a lot more than what I paid for. From the first minute, Jennifer's strategic approach was evident to me. She helped me craft my story in a way I wasn't able to earlier. She kept pushing me hard till I was able to write a perfect essay, while all the time reminding me to stay honest and ethical about it. One would assume that a consultant would give up after a couple of iterations if the client is not listening, but Jennifer did not. I thank her for the same!

Her understanding of what each school wants is terrific and she does a wonderful job of nudging the essays in that direction. In fact, later, she helped me with interview prep, post-interview notes and wait list strategy. I worked on 3 schools with her - MIT / Booth / Tuck and was interviewed by all of them. I finally got accepted at Tuck.

Jennifer is especially good to work with if you are looking at budget options. She is very efficient and I used less than 15 hours with her (and that was because I wasn't as efficient) for school selection / 1 ding report / essay service for 3 schools / 2 mock interviews / 2 post interview reports and wait list strategy.

I haven't worked with other Accepted consultants, but I have also often benefited from Linda's webinars and blogs.

Great Experience with Accepted.com

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I had a wonderful experience with Jennifer Weld with Accepted.com. Jen was very helpful with me from the first consultation session through to my acceptance at Emory Goizueta, Indiana Kelley, and Vanderbilt Owen. I received merit scholarships to Emory and Indiana. She worked with me on my resume and essays to help me best position myself for success in the business school application process. She answered any questions that I had on my applications. I was grateful for her years of experience as she helped me achieve my goal of being accepted to Emory. I would highly recommend Accepted.com to anyone that is looking at hiring a consultant for their MBA application process.
