Yes, even I cannot see the Take the Quiz option in any of the sub-forums. Maybe something has changed.

i think it is better if you take free and purchased mock test from GMAC website. Those will give you best idea if you dont solve questions published in gmat club from those tests

Hello.
I got a question.

Mike has listened to songs a total number of 870 hours after getting his new phone. How many days is required for him, listening 10 hours per day to reach that 870 hours of play time?

My target is just receiving 600 in focus edition. To me, verbal section is the most challenging part, especially reading comprehension section. Currently, I am practicing from GMAT club question banks setting difficulty level at 505-555. But, according to my error log, I can hardly make correct only 60% of these questions. I request experts to give some suggestions on how to improve from this point.

Manhattan preparation for GMAT on verbal section book is a great way to learn the basics on how to solve RC questions.

I have a query are these online self prep courses like TTP are not sufficient enough for our prep? Do we need to supplement our prep with Manhattan books too, as suggested by most of the Gmat aspirents or the experts. Just a random query if you could address.

But the passage doesnot talk about friends because if we stay in the periphery of the passage , it’s either going to be B or C , because I think we can have inference like B or C. It’s logical and inside the periphery of the passage

It seems more logical to attack the justification for the action (c) than the order of operations (e). This becomes even more true in this context when the primary purpose of the passage is not the sequential process of events that must occur. If it was, more details would be provided.

Tbh, if you really think about what C is saying, it doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
According to option C, any citizen could be engaging in military campaigns against any country and when faced with charges they can just say "oh I’m just preparing just in case a war happens"

You make a valid point. However it is best to not use prior knowledge when answering these questions. Only use the info given. I am sure a skilled prosecutor could bring charges against these people. However, s/he would likely do so under a different part of that act of under another act.

I feel very verbal CR question is tackle able in a way EXCEPT assumption qs
Its so confusing..
I understand that it should strengthen /validate the conclusion but

Like should we consider ,external premises or not
should the assumption relate to the given premise .....
also the negation technique is so confusing esp in exam setting- negation can really drive you blank under time pressure

How you all handle this qs type

Honestly, the way you wrote that made it very difficult to comprehend. Can you please explain?

Sorry for the typos

I am struggling with assumption qs type in CR
I have gone through multiple techniques for this
But I am not confident about my answer choices when I pick, i still feels a little random
So I wanted to check, how do you all go about this qs type

To answer your question, I think that techniques are useful, but sometimes only to a certain extent. Techniques have limitations. There will sometimes be randomness and you just have to go with your gut feel. That is, in the context of the GMAT of course.
