Shaifali Aggarwal is the Founder/CEO of Ivy Groupe, a boutique MBA admissions consulting firm. She received her MBA from Harvard Business School (HBS) and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Princeton University. Applying to graduate school was a very sudden and deliberate decision. I had less than three months in total to study and take the GMAT before the applications were due. On top of that, I had to keep up with work and my various community commitments. Having taken a first look at applications by myself, I was completely disoriented. I had reached out to my college best friend who had recently started school at HBS and he recommended his MBA Admissions Consultant, Shaifali. Despite the tight deadline, she was able to break each step down into manageable and meaningful pieces, with each step bringing me closer to a polished application. She guided me through the process and helped me assemble a storyboard true to myself. Through various brainstorming sessions and iterations of my essays with her, I was able to paint a story of my life and accomplishments with pride and confidence.

I had disadvantaged my applications by not preparing for the GMAT well in advance and as a result, achieved a below-average score. This may have been a factor to my waitlist status at my dream school. Despite this setback, Shaifali supported me throughout the waitlist process and guided me through each applicant update requested by the school. Ultimately, I was accepted into my dream school off the waitlist and I would not have accomplished this incredible feat of a successful last minute application without her.
