Best Test Prep Out there!!

Strengths:

Great at making concepts simple and easy to remember, and gives lots of transferrable practice to make test day the easiest day.

Would make the product better:

I excelled at the verbal section, and quit doing verbal lessons/practice after only a few modules, and still scored in the 98th percentile for verbal. Keeping in mind that everyone may not be as lucky as me in this regard, I do think the verbal portion can be less material, saving studiers some time.

Great product! I scored beyond my target. Well worth the money if you take the GMAT seriously. Chapter tests for Target Test Prep are significantly harder than the GMAT itself, so you will be more than ready when test day comes along. Simple lessons that are easy to understand and gives lots of practice. I was fortunate to be able to dedicate all of my time to studying, but I can very easily see someone working TTP studying and tests into their down time while working a job. The timing of practice tests and global reviews, paired with the test taking strategy section which the student takes sporadically throughout the course are all very helpful as well!
Cannot speak highly enough about TTP!!

TTP, a great resource to become successful

Strengths:

TTP teaches you all the right strategies to be employed in test day on the various topics covered by the GMAT. There is plenty of content and it’s all very well organized. The possibility of taking custom tests is a big plus. Everything is designed to make you develop the right foundations for a successful test day.

Would make the product better:

Overall the product is very complete and well designed

TTP is a great resource that makes you build the right foundations and skills needed to be successful on test day. It truly helped me rebuild my confidence in Quant from scratch . The study plan suggested by TTP gave a clear idea of what I needed to do in order to get to my target score . Custom tests helped me work on my weaknesses while also learning to deal with time pressure.
I spent plenty of time taking thousands of exercises . It was really worth it. I ended up attaining a great score on test day despite being a non native speaker and being not accustomed to math anymore . Thank you TTP!

TTP Course Review

Improvement 180 Points

Strengths:

Overall this program was instrumental in the completion and success of my GMAT FE journey. When I first started studying for the test I had ordered the GMAC official study material and was just reviewing chapter after chapter. It became very clear to me early on that I had no way to effectively organize my study schedule for such a large test that covers so many different topics. TTP really did help me organize my time, goals, and what I should be studying/targeting every session leading up the the actual exam. This course was also rigorous in the sense that I felt like the practice was harder than the test itself, which really helped making the actual exam feel a lot less stressful.

Would make the product better:

As a comp sci. undergrad, I have a big thing for good intuitive UI and platforms that are flexible enough to meet the needs of all users. For me, I sometimes felt the UI and error tracking was a bit underwhelming in terms of functionality. I'd like to see the addition of custom error tracking statuses as I found I was often making errors that I didn't really feel fell into any of the fixed groups. I'd also like to see functionality to skip lessons instead of having to wait for them to expire.

Overall I don't think I have too much more to add than what was stated in terms of specific pros or cons. I think one of the keys of this course was not just helping me navigate the content of the test, but the structure and methodology of the test independent of whatever content it may contain. There were lots of pieces of information that helped me really approach the test in a more intelligent way that I would not have been able to do independently. They really take the time to break down the test so that you understand what the test is and what it's trying to do. I think once I really understood what the test was and how it was testing me it made me approach it in an entirely new way. There were sections throughout the course reminding me what my goals were, reminding me to take my time, and that studying for a test like the GMAT is a marathon and not a sprint.

Strengths:

TTP identifies, targets, and works on your weaknesses; friendly team; streamlined and efficient interface; highly detailed questions with both video and written explanations for solutions.

Would make the product better:

The only thing I would change (and maybe the approach to this is expressly intentional) is to allow one to reorder the mission interface to place their weakest subjects earlier. Through the iterative learning model, this would allow one to get more reps of the weaker subjects.

TTP is a comprehensive, effective, and accessible GMAT test prep program that enables candidates to score a 705+ score. TTP was perfect for reconfirming my foundations for the quant and DI sections. I was able to raise my score by 120 points in two months through TTP's mission learning approach. The service is perfect for forcing you to lock down concepts that you may have learned in the past but have lost some memory of. I really appreciate the number of reps TTP had me do to make sure that I really understood a concept. The questions accurately mirror the questions on the actual exam and comprehensively cover all of the sections in a coherent manner. The software intersperses highly beneficial sections on test-taking strategies and time management skills tailored for the GMAT focus.

I highly recommend TTP to anyone who is serious about improving their GMAT score.

Very good plataform

Strengths:

The product is really well structured. If you want a plataform that help yourself to structure your study plan, it's great!

Would make the product better:

The learning part is really long, i think that the diagnostic test could be more accurate on understanding the strong points and taking it off from the learning section.
Other feature i miss, is a better dashboard from the output of the questions you took from the practice section. Seeing more insightful informations such as an graph with improvement on sections would be awesome.

This was the most structured study plataform i've used for gmat.
As a non native english speaker, i've always had problem on the verbal section of the gmat. The new gmat focus helped me since it took off the SC part, however i found out that the teaching structure of the RC and the CR sections helped me to answer the questions faster than i did before.
I've also used the data section a lot, specially the question bank, it has helped me to ace a really good score on data
For the quant, i almost didn't use the learning, but the question bank also helped to me prepare for the test.

All the study material you need to achieve your target score

Strengths:

The quant section is phenomenal and super in depth on every topic one could be asked.
The Reading Comprehension and Multi-Source Reasoning chapter tests are much better than simply using the OG guide.
The explanations for the Critical Reasoning are very thorough and helpful.
The amount of practice questions is helpful to get the reps in and feel comfortable with all sorts of questions.

Would make the product better:

The price point is compared to other courses a bit higher, which lead me to use a different course at first but TTP is still 100% worth it.

My TTP experience was nothing but positive. I went into TTP after having scored a 565 on an official gmat focus practice test and 2 months of (oftentimes rather frustrating and unstructured) study time.
I used a different prep course for about a month but quickly realised that it wasn't going to get me to my target score of 635+. Looking back I can comfortably say that TTP gives you all the necessary frameworks you need in order to excel at quant, verbal and data insights.
Even just going through the TTP chapter tests proved more helpful than going through the OG questions. This is especially true for all the hard questions TTP offers, which I found much more difficult than on the actual exam / OG questions. (take quant for example. I would rarely hit the accuracy target for the hard chapter tests but could towards the end of my study get 15 hard OG questions in a row right)
TTP was also extremely helpful for Reading Comprehension and Multi-Source-Reasoning. The chapter tests allow you to approach the questions in the same fashion you would in the exam because you would get one topic and then multiple questions to that same topic. In the OG question bank this isn't the case which when practicing can mess with your timing.
I ended up scoring above the 90th percentile and can confidently say that without TTP this would have not been possible.

Quantative Concepts Excellent, Verbal Mostly Good

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Improvement N/A

Course Target Test Prep Flexible Prep

Strengths:

Well organized curriculum. Excellent coverage of quantitative concepts. Verbal strategies are mostly excellent.

Would make the product better:

Personally I felt like the verbal explanations (roughly 5-10%) were occassionally not in line with OG. For example, TTP mentions some things about bad comparisons not being the correct answer, but in OG I saw a few times where it was correct.

Overall, TTP is a great starting point. I used it for about 200 hours over a 1 month period (completed everything except the easy chapter tests). This is the first, and very likely last time, taking the GMAT.

My first two practice mocks (no studying besides the free starter kit) were 605 and 655. TTP quantitative concepts covered 95%+ of the quantitative concepts I saw on OG/the actual exam. The verbal, although there were some parts that I disagreed with, did have some very valuable strategies for tackling questions and in combination with OG was enough to get a decent verbal score. The best verbal strategy overall they had, I would say is learning how to eliminate incorrect answers.

Note that I am not a native english speaker by definition, but I've studied/worked long enough in English that I would consider there to be a small difference at most with a native speaker. I also have an undergrad in math.

665 on the GMAT Focus with TTP's help

Strengths:

1. Awesome, personalised study plan that cut out all the planning mess so I could dive straight into studying
2. Preemptive understanding of the various challenges that students face during prep, which made each chapter easier to follow
3. Loved the read-through format as opposed to traditional video lectures; I could knock out lessons anywhere, like during my commute

Would make the product better:

1. A deeper dive into analyzing OG Practice Tests beyond just self-review to really pinpoint strengths and weaknesses
2. Amp up the DI focus—the study plan seemed to favor other sections more, and DI had way fewer lessons as well

Took me a bit to drop this review since I only got my scores last week, but going with Target Test Prep (TTP) was hands down the smartest move for my prep. I opted for the Flexi Plan, extending it to about 6 weeks through a referral. Having prepared for competitive exams previously, I was immediately impressed by TTP’s streamlined approach. As someone who values thorough planning, their study plan significantly eased my preparation process.
I supplemented my TTP preparation with OG Practice Tests and Quant questions--highly recommend, just to get more diversity w.r.t. problem sets. TTP really knows its stuff when it comes to Verbal and Quant prep—their attention to detail on the finer points of student errors was eye-opening. It made me much more conscious and less likely to fall into those traps. Even my best friend’s on board now and loving the course. Highly recommend!

Strengths:

1) Content quality and depth
2) Being able to follow the study plan by the book, no need to figure out what and when to study
3) Problems are very difficult, so it seemed as though the real GMAT was easy

Would make the product better:

Nothing, couldn't be happier with the product.

After initially scoring 70th percentile on the legacy GMAT, I was looking to improve to the 90th percentile when the new Focus came around. A friend of mine recommended TTP, so i decided to try it out. I saw my score improvement after a few months of really hard work. TTP is very easy to follow and the difficulty is higher than the real GMAT in my opinion, so it felt like I had an advantage during the test. Really happy overall. As a non-native speaker, verbal was always my weak spot, but TTP helped me to understand CR and RC at a much deeper level. I improved my percentile in that section from about 50th percentile to about 80th percentile, which as a native spanish speaker I am extremely proud of.
