­I would say LSE and HEC are on the same level, with ESSEC being a step down from both!

 ­The choice here depends on profile I would say. If you have good working experience, and are confident that you can land a good internship/full-time role in a summer position then I would go with LSE's shorter, one year programme. Otherwise, HEC's two year programme will be advantgeous, since you have two recruiting cycles to build up your CV. At the level of prestiege etc, they are (more or less) the same. HEC is stronger in French countries (Benelux, France) whilst LSE is stronger in the U.K. (note that the difference is really marginal)
