Thank you so much for that. Did you pursue masters from Kelley?

I have received a full tuition scholarship in Ohio vs $40,000/yr scholarship in Indiana. Please suggest as per job prospects in both universities.

what do you mean about job prospect in both universities. Read both school employment report.

Kelley obviously signifcantly ranks higher than ohio state fisher and that is for a reason.

Kelley has higher total compesation compared to Fisher. See both school employment reoprts below. As someone who ws once in your shoes you need to ask yourself what matters most to you.

As a Finance Major at Kelley. Kelley has one of the best Finance professors in the United states. Check other Kelley Programs eg. Kelley Direct, Kelley MSF and Kelley Undergrad. you will seee the pattern

Re: Ohio vs Indiana - MBA Finance [#permalink]
This is a close call between Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business and Indiana University Bloomington's Kelley School of Business for your MBA in Finance. The full scholarship at Ohio State makes it a very attractive option financially. This saves you a significant amount of money compared to Indiana's program.

Job Prospects:

Both Kelley and Fisher have strong reputations for their finance programs and successful alumni placement on Wall Street and in major financial institutions.
Location can be a factor. Ohio State is located in Columbus, Ohio, a major financial hub in the Midwest.

Recommendation:

With the full scholarship, Ohio State's Fisher College appears to be the more financially sound option. However, Kelley might have a slight edge for Wall Street aspirations due to its program ranking and alumni network in major financial centers.

Here are some tie-breaker factors to consider:

Program Focus: Investigate the specific coursework and specializations offered by each program to see which aligns better with your career goals in finance (e.g., Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, etc.)
Career Services: Compare the career services departments at both schools and see which one offers stronger support for finance careers, including alumni connections and internship opportunities.
Campus Visit (if possible): Getting a feel for the campus environment and culture can be a big factor in your decision.

Ultimately

The best school for you depends on your priorities. If the full scholarship makes a big difference financially, Ohio State might be the clear winner. But if your dream is Wall Street and Kelley offers a clear advantage in that area, the higher cost might be worth it for you. Carefully weigh the pros and cons based on your financial situation and career aspirations.
