I noticed some folks mention a program called Gmatter. I went to the website but it doesn't really give much of a description:

"Gmatter is a free software program to simulate real like test environment for GMAT Test while practicing. It uses easily created XMLs from text based materials which are utilised as inputs to the program.

Gmatter has lots of good reporting features also, which enable you to analyze your strength and weakness areas in an efficient manner"

is it basically SC1000 RC1000 etc... loaded into some program/? i only ask because i don't like feeling overconfident in my CATs if it turns out i am working on problems i have already done before

Thats exactly what gmatter is.

I used it with tremendous success in my preparations. It already has all the 1000 series loaded. However from time to time you can load more questions in it (I think there was an extra dataset for it on the website).

The advantage of using GMatter is of course is that it provides lots and lots and lots of practice on a screen, which is similar to a CAT environment as opposed to solving the same problems reading from a book.

If you have done ALL of the 1000 SC + CR + RC then you probably dont need it.

What is GMATTER ?
Simply put, GMATTER is a software that stimulates the real GMAT interface. It includes questions from the following sources:

o 1000 SC/RC/CR series
o OG 10 - verbal questions only


Why GMATTER ?
All that GMATTER does is giving you the oppotunity to practice the previously mentioned questions through a GMAT interface, instead of in MS. word, the case with the 1000 series, or via a hard-copy book of the OG 10. You'll do your readings for the RC in your PC screen and use your mouse to select the answer and then confirm it, after which you can check, instantly, whether you got the answer correct. If not, you can show the official explanation, only for OG 10 questions.

So, what's the best way to get my hands on GMATTER?
Is it a free download, paid software?

Hi Folks,

GMATTER software link is not workable.. can anyone provide new link.. I heard that GMATTER software is useful tool for gmat preparation.. thanks..
