Nisha Trivedi Reviews

Company: mbaMission

Nisha Trivedi earned her BA in communication from the University of Pennsylvania and her MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. A deep interest in understanding the consumer inspired her to initially pursue a career in marketing research, and after college, she held positions at Time Inc., Rosetta, and KPMG LLP in New York City. A desire to transition into brand management led Nisha to Ross, where she was an active member of the Marketing Club, organizing mock internship interviews for her peers during her first year and serving as the club’s vice-president of communications during her second year. After graduating with her MBA, Nisha worked for several years in brand management in San Francisco at Big Heart Pet Brands (now part of The J.M. Smucker Company) before joining mbaMission. She most enjoys creating brand positioning and crafting tailored messaging that speaks to consumers’ needs, which is a skill she applies in helping her clients “market” themselves to their dream MBA programs. Nisha also has a longstanding commitment to philanthropy—she has been a volunteer team leader for New York Cares and now sits on the board of directors of The Shanti Project, a San Francisco–based nonprofit that enhances the health, quality of life, and well-being of people with serious illnesses.

Wholeheartedly Recommend!

I had the privilege of working with Nisha on two applications, and was admitted to both programs with funding support. Initially, I thought I had a fairly good sense of the programs I was interested in and what I wanted out of them. My plan was to review the available guides and apply on my own. Given the high cost of MBA programs (both financial and commitment!), I decided working with a consultant would be a small investment to ensure I was targeting the best fit programs and putting forth my best application. I am so glad I did and found Nisha! She was very approachable, responsive, and offered great questions and feedback throughout the whole process. She was also a wonderful thought partner on several key decisions - offering considerations that I had not thought of so I could be sure I was making the best possible decision in short turnaround times. Besides the applications, I am confident the insights, self-discoveries, and articulation skills I gained from working with Nisha will help me in school and beyond as well! I will wholeheartedly work with Nisha again if I had the chance.

Saved the Day!

Prior to hiring Nisha, I had failed to get into any of the five schools I applied to in round one. I was referred to Nisha by a friend and she very quickly helped me redo my essays and general narrative, quickly pointing out where there was significant room or improvement.

I’m happy to say in round two, I had much greater success. I secured offers from both Chicago Booth and Columbia Business School. I’m confident that I would not have been successful had I not been willing to pivot and bring in Nisha. She helped out quickly and had great feedback.

Thank you Nisha!

Nisha helped me during my Round 1 applications to three M7 schools - I was ultimately accepted to all three, including a scholarship offer from one school!

Nisha was incredibly efficient and usually provided essay comments within a day. She was great at teasing out specific aspects of the narrative to ensure results and implications were clearly highlighted. During interview prep, she helped me identify areas of my profile that were not explicitly described in my written application to give more color to my personality.

The application process was intense and nerve-racking, but I am so grateful that Nisha always provided candid feedback, a fresh perspective, and incredible support. Still in disbelief that I'm actually going to b-school, thank you Nisha!

Great Investment in Hourly Services

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I had a very positive experience working with Nisha. I chose the hourly services since I only wanted to apply to one school and, yes, I got in! She was very speedy in her responses and I was able to get through resume and essay edits in a couple billable hours. She had a lot of great feedback that 10x my initial drafts. I don't think things would have gone as successfully if I had not hired Nisha to help with the admission process. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is serious about applying to a school, especially if you just need hourly consulting.

Exceptional MBA Application Assistance from Nisha (CBS Admit)

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I had the privilege of working with Nisha during crunch time of my round 1 applications to three M7 business schools. Nisha was not just a consultant; she was a mentor and guide throughout the process. Her professionalism, promptness, and friendly approach made the stressful period of applications much more manageable.

She understood the intricacies of each school’s application process and tailored her advice accordingly.

What truly set Nisha apart was her efficient use of time. Despite the time constraints, she ensured that every piece of feedback was actionable and impactful, making the most of the consulting hours I had purchased. Her dedication to my success was evident in her willingness to go the extra mile, accommodating my schedule and responding swiftly to my queries.

Nisha Is Great!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I unreservedly recommend working with Nisha on any aspect of your application. I began the MBA application process late and was faced with a condensed timeline to work through the GMAT and subsequent application materials. Nisha provided timely and invaluable input on all aspects of my candidacy from my resume to my essays and extra-curriculars. She was always responsive and available to jump on a zoom call to answer any pressing questions as the submission deadlines approached.
We continued to work together leading up to the interview process. Nisha conducted a great mock interview session which helped immensely in my preparation for conversations with admission committees. She not only presented the opportunity to practice speaking to my application and experience, but also provided critiques on how to better answer questions to convey the strengths I possessed as a candidate.
I am happy to say that I have been offered admission to my top choice in M7 school, and it would not have been possible without Nisha’s continued help and support. If you are in the market for a consultant who will get to know you as a candidate and work with you through each step of your application, Nisha is the perfect fit.

Nisha is amazing!!! Best consultant out there for successful applications!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I worked with Nisha to apply to HSW during the 2023-2024 application cycles, and I can say without hesitation that it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Nisha was absolutely pivotal for my successful MBA applications - I got accepted into H and W, an outcome that I could only dream of prior to getting the acceptance letters from both schools!

I came to Nisha feeling generally confused and overwhelmed by the work required to pull my applications together, and she immediately helped structure the approach for me to make it digestible and doable. Starting from our first meeting, Nisha set about understanding what has been important in my life; she kept that top of mind while working with me to develop applications that reflected me in the best ways possible for each school. Nisha was crucial for my essays, recommender selection and preparation, interview prep, and all of the small parts of applications that I didn't even know existed!

Nisha worked closely with me to brainstorm content for essays and then took a rigorous approach to pulling out the best stories that I could tell for each essay prompt. I truly felt cared for and supported as we went through brainstorming sessions, topic selection, outline reviews, and many, many essay drafts before we felt confident that I had well-rounded and complete essays to submit. She applied the same level of detail to the other big parts of my applications (recommender selection, interview prep, etc.), and even the small parts that gave me extra concern. I can honestly say that working with Nisha allowed me to leave no stone unturned and propelled me towards putting my best foot forward for each of the applications that we worked on together.

I said it before and I'll say it again: Nisha was absolutely pivotal for my successful MBA applications, and I recommend working with her to anyone who is serious about applying to top programs!

Review - Nisha Trivedi Hourly Services

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I loved working with Nisha, she was very quick to turn around essay feedback and schedule calls with me. I mostly focused on essays with her but also got her advice on how to approach interviews, and reviewed many short answers on the applications. In all, I used about 10 hours of her services, about 7 were for essays and the application and the rest were for interviews. I did a mock interview for both HBS and Kellogg. The mock for HBS was great and very similar for the real thing so I felt very prepared.

I would highly recommend her, and had an 100% admission rate with the schools I applied to.
