Strengths:

Extremely detailed, well organized categories of quant, verbal, and data. Customizable study plan based on desired score.

Would make the product better:

I would only recommend more practice questions! I did the maximum amount possible, but would've loved to try more.

TTP was essential for me to achieve such a large increase in my score. Having no prep and jumping into TTP, I completed the course and felt confident regarding content going into my practice exam phase. The lessons and study plan in TTP are extremely comprehensive. At no point did I ever feel as though I hadn't seen any kind of new information on the GMAT official guides and exam. Scott and the instructors are very responsive and on GMAT Club, I find their explanations the most understandable as well. With TTP I was able to jump from a 505 first practice exam score to a 645 GMAT Focus official score. Thank you TTP!

Strengths:

Very thorough course that it split up into sections based on types of questions and skills needed to succeed. This helps fine tune specific skills and understand weakness areas to focus on.

Would make the product better:

I think the course was a little dense in the sense of it taking quite a while. A lot of that was it being a little wordy.

Such a great and thorough class that really explores every area of the GMAT Focus. I started this class with little knowledge of how the test worked or what it would be asking, and after going through TTP I felt totally confident and prepared to succeed. My score went from a 575 to a 645 in 6 months! I would recommend, and be sure to track mistakes to get the most out of it.

I would emphasize that this course takes 100+ hours to complete, and trying to do it any faster than this will not be helpful. Be sure to be thorough! Best of luck.

Strengths:

TTP logically breaks up the material into topics that build on the skills that you learn in previous lessons. The program is so thorough that completing the course prepares you to handle any question you'll see on the GMAT!

Would make the product better:

I genuinely have no recommendations for improvement.

TTP is the real deal. This is the only GMAT prep course you will need to ace the GMAT! TTP gives you all the tools necessary to succeed and structures their course so that you can reach your goal as soon as possible! TTP was absolutely critical in helping me achieve my score. The material gave me such a great foundation of knowledge and skills before moving on to Official Guide Practice Questions. Just as important, the topical structure of TTP allowed me to easily revisit topics of weakness to practice, review, and refine skills before test day. I highly recommend TTP!!

Strengths:

Comprehensive Content: Target Test Prep offers a thorough review of all GMAT topics, ensuring students are well-prepared for the exam.

Realistic Practice: The platform's practice questions closely mirror those on the actual GMAT, providing a valuable test-taking experience.

Effective Strategies: Target Test Prep provides valuable strategies for time management, study planning, and problem-solving, which are crucial for success on the GMAT.

Would make the product better:

Incorporating personalized study plans based on individual strengths and weaknesses could help students optimize their preparation. But this gets offset by the analytics service that it offers, giving you details about your timing and correct answers by topic.

Target Test Prep is a comprehensive and effective GMAT preparation tool that helped me achieve a score of 705. The platform's content review is thorough, covering all the essential topics tested on the GMAT. The practice questions are challenging and closely resemble the actual GMAT, providing a realistic test-taking experience. I found the strategies for timing, study structure, and test-taking to be particularly helpful. However, the platform could benefit from more interactive elements and expanded explanations for certain questions. Overall, I highly recommend Target Test Prep to anyone preparing for the GMAT. Its realistic practice questions and effective strategies make it a valuable tool for achieving success on the exam

Target Test Prep - Trust in the curriculum will get you places!

Strengths:

I love the structured format of both quant, verbal, and DI. The way that questions (both examples and tests) that you get incorrect are saved and you can go back and try those again with a fresh mindset are invaluable. It's saved me many times, when I realized I was subconsciously making the same mistakes, and I was able to improve on those.

Would make the product better:

I feel like there could be more practice content for verbal and data insights, but the questions that are there currently are immensely helpful and helped me get the concepts right, which is ultimately what you need to score well.

The way the course is structured is brilliant, its pretty lengthy but for good reason. The quality of questions is excellent, and the hard questions really make you think on the spot, and that gives you the ability to be able to tackle almost any question during the actual exam. GMAT exams have a tendency to throw anything at you, which when students give mocks will realize, and TTP trains you for this eventuality.

The video solutions are good, but I never watched them, because the text solutions are crystal clear with logic. The chat button is available if you want any clarification, and the team is mostly good at getting back to you in time.

I wish the verbal and DI sections had more questions like quant (which is an absolute mammoth to get through). I trusted the course in the sense that I knew if I solved every question properly I'd be in a very good place to get an excellent score.

I didn't follow their timetable feature - I was working alongside prepping and sometimes I was just too drained after work, so I went through the course at my own pace and made effort to grind on the weekends.

Overall, I think this course + OG questions + mocks is all you really need, and you should have everything in place to get an outstanding score.

Strengths:

1) Extremely thorough curriculum that helps you to understand the fundamentals of all quant concepts as well as the methods of thinking required to perform well
2) Huge library of practice problems that are very similar to the ones on the actual GMAT focus exam
3) Comprehensively covers all types of questions that you can expect to see as well as all the more advanced variants of common questions
4) Excellently designed course that understands that guided repeated practice is the key to mastering difficult topics

Would make the product better:

I really only have good things to say about this course

I started my GMAT focus journey back in December 2023, taking my first ever official practice test with no prior preparation. I scored a 635 with a glaring weakness - quant. As a senior in my undergraduate studies planning to apply to deferred MBA programs, I only had a few months to practice and take the actual exam. After mulling over my options, I decided that TTP was overwhelmingly recommended as the best resource for improving your GMAT score (I believe this to be the case as well). I spent about 2 months on studying from early January to early March, completing the course in just under 200 hours. I was already very confident in my verbal abilities so I opted to skip most of TTP's verbal section (However, I did do a few sections and it was also very comprehensive and similar to the actual GMAT focus). I took the actual GMAT focus exam a few days ago and fortunately received a score of 755. TTP is the only resource I used and I'm beyond happy with how effective it was. I genuinely believe that TTP is the only resource that you need outside of the official GMAT focus questions and practice tests. In my case, I didn't even practice with official questions as I felt that the TTP questions were sufficient.

Strengths:

Its a great solution for people who have no clear idea how to start, the content is well organized, and the study plan is realistic and helpful. I truly believe that the short examples are really helpful in making sure that you're understanding what you're studying. Overall the product is a one-stop solution.

Would make the product better:

I think that it could be great to have even more examples on the verbal section, the content was great, but I'd like to see more examples and more practice from this section.

Target Test Prep (TTP) proved to be an invaluable resource in my GMAT preparation, especially for enhancing my speed and accuracy in the quantitative section. TTP offers an incredibly structured and comprehensive course, breaking down complex mathematical concepts into understandable lessons. The verbal preparation is also great because it teaches you the best ways to approach and answer these types of questions. The course's progression from basic to advanced topics solidified my foundational knowledge, allowing for a smoother transition into tackling higher difficulty problems.

What sets TTP apart is its vast repository of practice questions and tests, closely mirroring the GMAT's style and difficulty. This extensive practice significantly improved my problem-solving speed and helped fine-tune my accuracy, teaching me efficient methods to approach each question. Moreover, TTP's analytics offered deep insights into my performance, highlighting areas for improvement and tracking my progress over time.

Strengths:

prepare to score max especially on quant, and verbal which is essential for non native as me

Would make the product better:

maybe something to review everything shortly, because i find that the card slides are not that grat to review

top course for GMAT out there I believe there is no other alternative as much competitive both in price and quality. I belive especially if you are non native and you want to spend less time as possible on gmat this is the choice. I belive is also very cheap for what they offer as preparation. if you need any other info reach out to me. however as said before specially for not native this is what make the difference in your gmat score between a 650 and a 750. Also for di is the best course and has prepared really shortly so in just 2 mont i have been able to have a great di score even when other platform had not update yet

Strengths:

The quant section is phenomenal and super in depth on every topic one could be asked.
The Reading Comprehension and Multi-Source Reasoning chapter tests are much better than simply using the OG guide.
The explanations for the Critical Reasoning are very thorough and helpful.
The amount of practice questions is helpful to get the reps in and feel comfortable with all sorts of questions.

Would make the product better:

The price point is compared to other courses a bit higher, which lead me to use a different course at first but TTP is still 100% worth it.

My TTP experience was nothing but positive. I went into TTP after having scored a 565 on an official gmat focus practice test and 2 months of (oftentimes rather frustrating and unstructured) study time.
I used a different prep course for about a month but quickly realised that it wasn't going to get me to my target score of 635+. Looking back I can comfortably say that TTP gives you all the necessary frameworks you need in order to excel at quant, verbal and data insights.
Even just going through the TTP chapter tests proved more helpful than going through the OG questions. This is especially true for all the hard questions TTP offers, which I found much more difficult than on the actual exam / OG questions. (take quant for example. I would rarely hit the accuracy target for the hard chapter tests but could towards the end of my study get 15 hard OG questions in a row right)
TTP was also extremely helpful for Reading Comprehension and Multi-Source-Reasoning. The chapter tests allow you to approach the questions in the same fashion you would in the exam because you would get one topic and then multiple questions to that same topic. In the OG question bank this isn't the case which when practicing can mess with your timing.
I ended up scoring above the 90th percentile and can confidently say that without TTP this would have not been possible.

Quantative Concepts Excellent, Verbal Mostly Good

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Strengths:

Well organized curriculum. Excellent coverage of quantitative concepts. Verbal strategies are mostly excellent.

Would make the product better:

Personally I felt like the verbal explanations (roughly 5-10%) were occassionally not in line with OG. For example, TTP mentions some things about bad comparisons not being the correct answer, but in OG I saw a few times where it was correct.

Overall, TTP is a great starting point. I used it for about 200 hours over a 1 month period (completed everything except the easy chapter tests). This is the first, and very likely last time, taking the GMAT.

My first two practice mocks (no studying besides the free starter kit) were 605 and 655. TTP quantitative concepts covered 95%+ of the quantitative concepts I saw on OG/the actual exam. The verbal, although there were some parts that I disagreed with, did have some very valuable strategies for tackling questions and in combination with OG was enough to get a decent verbal score. The best verbal strategy overall they had, I would say is learning how to eliminate incorrect answers.

Note that I am not a native english speaker by definition, but I've studied/worked long enough in English that I would consider there to be a small difference at most with a native speaker. I also have an undergrad in math.
